John Ralph manufacturing facilities process thousands of pounds of wood lumber into hospitality furniture every year. So when the opportunity came to sponsor tree planting efforts through the Arbor Day Foundation, we naturally joined in. 2016 was our first year as a corporate sponsor, and we are proud to announce…
Donations made to the Arbor Day Foundation in 2016 planted over 11,000 trees right in our home state of Idaho!
Idaho’s Maggie Creek State Forest was burned in 2014 as part of the Johnson Bar Fire, and the reforestation efforts in this area, according to the Arbor Day Foundation, will benefit many species including black bear, elk, and white tail deer, as well as grouse, wild turkey, and fisheries. It will also helps to stabilize slopes and protect the Scenic Selway River area and provide hiding and thermal cover for wildlife.
With the help of our great customers, John Ralph hopes to exceed 10,000 trees again in 2017!
